7.3 IDI Viton Sleeve Fuel Line Seal Kit

Seals the metal fuel inlet and outlet lines at the fuel filter base and at the inlet of the injection pump. Kit includes (1) x 3/8 inch sleeve and (2) x 5/16 inch sleeves. From the factory, IDI diesels utilized Buna-N sleeves at these fuel line connections. These Viton sleeves are significantly more chemical resistant and resilient than the factory seals.

(2) x 5/16 inch sleeves seal both sides of the rigid fuel line connecting the fuel filter base to the injection pump (fuel filter outlet to injection pump inlet).

(1) x 3/8 inch sleeve seals the rigid fuel line connecting the fuel filter base to the fuel pump. Note that there is no sleeve at the fuel pump connection, only on the filter side of this line. 

Highly recommend replacing as a complete set if a fuel leak is detected or the fuel pump is replaced.

INSTALLATION NOTES

Lightly coat with clean motor oil prior to installation. Fuel connections should be clean and free of debris and/or old remnants before installing new seals.
